Nonprofit Mission Statement

To empower the disadvantaged people of Haiti to overcome the lack of basic needs such as food, clothing, clean drinking water, and spiritual growth. Guided by Biblical principles we assist those who are suffering, and provide them with hope for a better future.

“It does not take much time living and working in Haiti to realize that the most life threatening problems existing in this country are directly related to the unmet basic needs of life. Poor nutrition, little access to clean water, and lack of sanitation continue to be major causes of death and disability, especially in young infants and children. Every day that I am in Haiti, I witness the devastating effects poor nutrition and unsafe water sources. I hope to see a day in Haiti when children go to school without hunger, and each family has continuous access to clean water and sanitation.” -Angela Kerchner, M.D., Iowa
